Could the World Exist Outside the Mind?

We live as we dream: alone

~ Questioning if those surrounding us in the dream can be those surrounding us in another universe

We live as we think: alone

~ Questioning if those surrounding us can thicken the narrative conflict “man versus world”

We live as we speak: alone

~ Questioning if those surrounding us can linguistically describe what remains unseen

I am beginning to sustain the illusion that I am one of “those surrounding us,” and therefore, by simple transposition, someone else in this world questions this much.

In many settings, this sensation persists to the point of dual existence:

~ I would dream, and suddenly, I’m living a dual existence as one of “those surrounding us.”

~ I would think, and suddenly, I’m living a dual existence as one of “those surrounding us.”

~ I would speak, and suddenly, I’m living a dual existence as one of “those surrounding us.”

Essentially, could I even linguistically describe what remains unseen and, at the same time, question why others can’t?

The silence of my settings irritates me when it onsets these thoughts of real life and an unknown life plot that cannot pause like one of those films with an orchestra. It’s difficult to think that you are one of those surrounding another until you mentally transpose. Then suddenly, you realize, you’re both living a dual existence.
